The Marvel Avengers Cinematic Universe Rankings

As we’ve been doing our Marvel Avengers Re-Watch series, I’ve been thinking about ranking the individual movies from the Marvel Avengers Cinematic Universe after each film we watch and review on our podcast.

So, for a current list of the films we’ve already reviewed on our podcast, here you go:

  1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  2. Captain America: Civil War
  3. Ant-Man
  4. The Avengers: Age of Ultron
  5. Captain America: The First Avenger
  6. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1
  7. Thor
  8. Iron Man
  9. The Avengers
  10. The Incredible Hulk
  11. Iron Man 3
  12. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
  13. Thor: The Dark World
  14. Iron Man 2

Pending Reviews: Dr. Strange, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther

It’s hard to rank the films at the top, as they are all good and depending on my mood at the time, they could switch places with another film. Plus, with some of these films I haven’t seen them in a few months and perhaps years. That’s why I suspect as I watch them and review them, they might start switching places.

Marvel Avengers Re-Watch #13 – Ant-Man

The Credulous Nerds, Marc and Justin, discuss Ant-Man and his origin story. We see how Scott Lang went from dead beat dad to an Avenger! *OK, not technically an Avenger yet, but he fought an Avenger and won!

We talk about how Ant-Man is different but the same as other origin stories, and how it’s one of our favorite Avenger films.

New Trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp

On our last podcast, Episode 17, we talked about the latest photo from this film and now we get to see a whole new trailer!

Marvel has released the trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp online. We get to see these two working together in their superhero suits and how they interact with each other. It looks like Hank Pym, Hope van Dyne, and Scott Lang are on the run after the events of Captain America: Civil War and are being chased by federal agencies. Hope’s mother, who was thought to be lost, is being played by Michelle Pfeiffer and will make an appearance in the film. This looks like it will be a good follow up to Ant-Man and I’m looking forward to seeing it!
